PEI World Cafe Invitation

Event Description:

As polar educators we reflect, not only on "what" but also "how and why" we engage our audiences in, about and for the Arctic and its people. Following the launch of a world café-style open conversation connecting people with an interest in (or who are impacted by) this topic at ASSW2023 in Vienna, Polar Educators International (PEI) invite delegates to participate in a continuing, open-ended conversation exploring connections and intersections between Arctic research, pedagogy, and Indigenous Knowledge, with the participation of representatives from Indigenous communities in the North. We call for participants to contribute thoughts and ideas, co-creating a diverse, inclusive, equitable and just understanding of the Arctic for the next generation.
